Twenty seven Gary’s ago I built a php-ish site called Haiku Fish. It was in the early days of facebook login API. Back then the API wasn’t refined for extracting the most PII without also sharing user names. This meant people posting on Haiku Fish could see names of other users that they weren’t yet friends with. And many of them became friends.
So Haiku Fish is alive again in a very alpha state. This time with no login. Type a haiku, submit and then, maybe share it…or not.
I will say I’m not happy with how it looks, but getting to live was more important to me than looks. Maybe one day.
